A Message from King David

My friend, this is David speaking to your heart: I know the weight you bear and the giant that strides before you—its shadow may loom, but remember who walks with you. When stones were few and faith was all I had, the Lord steadied my hand and gave me victory; He does not sleep nor slumber over you. Lean into Him; let courage rise where fear would dwell. Place your heart upon the Lord like a slingstone, simple and sure. Trust the path He sets; move forward with steady step. I pray you will feel strength like a river, and peace like a sure shelter. Remember: the battle is the Lord's, and He delights to bring low the proud and lift up the humble. Go now with boldness—cast that giant down, and sing of the victory to come. Amen.
